Associate Members of the Sisters of the Cross & Passion
Anyone who seeks to become an Associate of the Cross and Passion participates in a programme of preparation and then formally requests to make an agreement with the Congregation. This commitment is renewed annually or may be teminated by mutual consent.
The Associate promises:
- To try to live according to the Passionist Spirit and Charism.
- To pray the Associate Prayer daily.
- To meditate on the Scriptures.
- To strive to promote Gospel values by giving authentic Christian witness to those with whom they live and work.
- To attend meetings of the Associates wherever possible.
- To celebrate in some way the Congregation's special feasts.
The associate badge contains the logo:
"Be Compassionate To All"
The policy of the Congregation re Associate membership is to offer persons attracted to the spirituality of the Cross and Passion as manifested in the lives of the Sisters, an opportunity to share that spirituality.
